I have never been much of a country fan. The music had always seemed very bland to me. I guess I felt there wasn’t enough soul or rhythm to get my Caribbean blood flowing. Then about 7 to 8 years ago, I came across this video by Jenny Lewis & Watson twins, and I was floored. At that point in time I had lacked the imagination to realize that there was such a thing as soulful, country inspired music. I loved their voices. The cleverness of the lyrics. And the Hee Haw inspired music video. I became a fan instantly.
